We are looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst to join the modernization and further development of a key internal application for managing users, access and permissions at Škoda Auto. This is a large-scale system that has been developed over many years, gradually evolving from simple user management into a comprehensive tool covering a range of identity and access management areas. The project is now facing a major change: modernizing the existing solution, consolidating functionality and preparing a new platform. We are therefore looking for someone to join the team who will help untangle how the system currently works, understand the needs of individual stakeholders and translate them into a solution design.

What will you do?

• Analyze both smaller and larger requirements and prepare specifications for development;
• map the existing system in terms of functionality, processes, data and integrations;
• contribute to the design of the target solution, including its architecture;
• discuss and gather requirements from the business requester, analyze them and translate them into technical terms for your colleagues on the development team;
• analyze and design business processes;
• support business users and the product owner;
• collaborate with other teams;
• create documentation and, ideally, model in EA.

What skills, knowledge and experience do you have?

• Mid-level or senior-level experience in both business and IT analysis;
• the ability to facilitate workshops with business and more technically oriented colleagues;
• the ability to create high-level concepts, use case specifications and business process definitions;
• proficiency in integration analysis, domain modeling and UML, along with an understanding of IT system architecture;
• the ability to find your way around complex systems;
• strong communication skills in both Czech and English.

What additional skills would we appreciate?

• Familiarity with Identity & Access Management (IAM): managing identities, user accounts, roles and access permissions;
• a basic understanding of IT infrastructure and infrastructure services, such as Active Directory / LDAP, authentication and authorization;
• experience with integration projects or systems with numerous connections to other applications;
• modeling in ArchiMate.
